Video Production, Editing and Social Media Engagement for Water to Thrive

Versa was tasked to create compelling content for Water to Thrive. A Non-Profit that helps villages in East Africa by building wells and helping the communities prosper through education and sanitation.

This content would be used to connect with current donors, churches, rotary clubs and volunteers as well as to reach new audiences and groups.

The challenge came in the specifics. We had a limited budget, a short amount of time and over 1000 pieces of content in the form of videos and pictures that had the potential to be used.

Interviews

To create a compelling narrative and use the given material, Versa decided to tell the stories of the heroes that make the operation of Water to Thrive possible. These interviews were intimate and gave vivid insight to the challenges, success stories and emotions that the organization has experienced over its astonishing 15 year journey. 

We then created content for email marketing, presentations and social media. Our main goal was to make this heroes relatable, to show their care and to promote both donations and volunteering

Social Media

While our main goal was to create content so that Water to Thrive could share it in their various avenues, our secondary goal was to engage and study their social media so we could create better content and for upcoming campaigns.

We decided to focus our attention on creating short organic reels both on Tiktok and Instagram because they could be made with a low budget, we could gather feedback fast and last but not least, we could make use of some of the videos and pictures that Water to Thrive provided us.
